Our Process
A direct meeting, a plan, and a relationship that stays active.
Fully understanding a person’s financial needs is a process we feel is not always addressed well by completing an online form. Human interaction sheds the right light on a situation.
When it comes to your investments and planning for your future, having a professional who has taken the time to get to know you may offer questions and thoughts no online questionnaire could address.
The Initial Meeting
We encourage the first step to be a direct meeting, in person if possible. The initial meeting gives us a chance to connect with you, understand the crossroads you see ahead, and establish if a relationship together will be a good fit.
Data and Planning Review
Once we have agreed to work together, we outline the objectives at hand and the future. We may ask for copies of statements or other documents so we can build a file of specific information. This review can take a few weeks as we evaluate, ask questions, and meet with other professionals.
Strategy Meeting
We share the potential courses of action we feel are the best choices for your objectives. These meetings establish an agreement between the client and the advisor on which strategy will be used.
Strategy Implementation
Having a plan is one step. Implementing it takes the work together and establishes action: opening accounts, submitting transfers, and making referrals for estate planning, tax work, or other tasks. Implementation may also be done in stages.
Revise and Review
No financial plan is designed to sit on a shelf. As the financial world around you changes, so can the plan. We set review periods and benchmarks to stay on track, and we schedule the next quarters of meetings.
